Mr. John Thomas Garner, also known as JT, is a Biology major from Cleveland, Ohio. Even though he stays busy with Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, Men’s Initiative Program and the Minorities Association for Pre Health/Pre Med Major, you can always catch him on the promenade with his fun and playful energy.

Tell us a little bit about College Boyfriends. “College Boyfriends is reality-based but scripted. It’s actually my first time acting. It’s definitely like an acting class for me because the producers really teach you and work with you. She gives you a scenario and tells you to intertwine it with your real life situations. So the things you guys see on College Boyfriends has probably happened in my life. Because of that, it is very natural. It’s really fun! I get the opportunity to travel to different schools and give people advice about college relationships and meet new people. I just really appreciate all the support and love the show has gained.”
How long have you been acting and modeling? “I’ve been modeling since I was about 7. It was mostly runway modeling, but then I stopped growing and realized to be a runway model you have to be around 6 feet and higher. So then I started getting into print modeling. During my freshman year, people started to ask me to model their clothes and be on their flyers to promote their brands. Why not be the face of things?”
What is Logicz? “Logicz is a brand that I’m working on. It started back in 2010, and the name came from being on a promo team. My friends back in high school used to do things in the community; we didn’t have a name, so I started calling us Logicz. People asked why, and the response was that we were the guys who had the best outfits, the best grades, played sports, had girls. Everything was just logical. I had a jacket with the name on it, and everyone wanted it. So then I decided that I was going to start making shirts to save up money to make jackets, and that’s where the idea for the clothing line came from. Logicz stands for LOGO, my acronym for Logicz, which means Logicz Over General Opinion. For something to be factual, it must have logic behind it, or else, it’s just an opinion.”
What’s your dream job and why? “I don’t have a dream job; I just know I live to influence. So if I can find a job where I’m influencing others and making an impact, I’m going to be successful and happy with my decision that I’m making. It’s really just wherever God can take me.”

What inspires you? Others happiness inspires me.
