6. Althea Gibson became the first black athlete to win a U.S. National Tennis Championship on September 8th, 1957.
7. Women Infant and Child (W.I.C) was created by the Black Panthers Party to help feed single mothers and the children in their communities.
8. Lincoln University is the oldest Historically Black University in the U.S. It was founded in 1854.
9. The Dora Milaje in Black Panther are based on the Dahomey Amazons who are the only documented all female official frontline combat arm military unit in modern history.
10. The first licensed African American Female pilot was named Bessie Coleman.
