Keeping the room organized is much more than just keeping it clean and in order. It’s to be able to better visualize the whole environment and make the daily routine easier, when it comes to looking for some clothes, some makeup product, or hair accessory, among others.

Having the most beautiful furniture in your decoration sometimes may not be enough to keep it organized. If they are not arranged in the room in a practical way, they can not only be bad for your routine, but also cause a certain discomfort when entering the room.

Taking advantage of the current scenario, in which we spend more time at home, the one that always ends up going through some change is our rooms. Thinking about it, we have separated some tips that can help you redecorate your room to make the environment more pleasant and harmonious and also keeping a good organization to make it easier on the daily basis. Check it out:

Don’t leave objects lying around

If you have few or many things like clothes, accessories, makeup, hair or skin products, it’s important to keep them in their proper places, in order to prevent them from being scattered around the room, making a big mess.

For example, whenever you change clothes, put the dirty ones in the laundry basket. Even if all the pieces of the wardrobe are scattered, try to organize them to keep back in the closet, keeping the organization. The same should be done with towels, for example, we tend to leave the wet towel on the bed after taking a shower.

Don’t leave objects scattered around the room, trying to keep it organized, it brings a great aspect of organization and cleanliness to the room, maintaining a good appearance, and of course, you will feel more willing to be inside your room without all that mess.

If the room is small, invest in functional furniture

It is wrong to think that the small room is very difficult to keep organized and decorated. If you leave anything out of place, it already seems that everything is dominated by the mess. But it’s not.

For rooms that do not have a relevant space for common furniture, opt for furniture that is functional and versatile. There are many types of beds with built-in wardrobes, which make it easy to store clothes in the closet. Or even beds that have a chest underneath, that you can store objects, such as toys for the child’s room or even shoes that do not fit in your shoe rack.

For girls who want a space to store their makeup products, but also need a “home office” corner, it’s really cool to use the dressing table, which side you can put your computer, books, notebooks and pens, and on the other side, your brushes, makeup products. This way, you don’t take up much space in the room and you can have two options in one piece.

Niches, organizing boxes and shelves

If you are having trouble organizing your belongings and want to give your room a new look, go for the niches. They are great for organizing, you can put your books, accessories, decoration items that sometimes we do not know where to put and end up being scattered. As well as the shelves, both are very common items in rooms today, because in addition to being very easy to install, you can use the way you want and change the arrangement of objects on them according to your taste.

Organizing boxes are extremely essential. Especially for those who have many things, they help you not to leave everything scattered, keeping the organization and bringing a charm to the room. You can label them according to the category of objects they have inside (makeup products, accessories, etc.), making it easier to look for something specific, without having to look at each one. Opt for boxes that match the decor of the room, maintaining the harmony of colors.

Try to maintain harmony within the room

In order to have a pleasant and cozy environment, it’s  very important to try to maintain the balance between the colors of the room.

On the wall, opt for more neutral tones and not too flashy, this way, you can dare in the decorative items or in the colors of pillows and furniture around the room. When decorating, invest in items that contrast with the colors of the room and furniture. The coolest thing is to be able to make these items yourself, leaving room the way you want.

Keep your wardrobe and bed tidy every day

It may seem difficult and a lot of work, but the main way to keep the room with that organizational aspect is to make the bed every day. Acquiring this habit is essential for those who are often unable to keep the room organized with the scattered objects, but when seeing the tidy bed, it already brings a feeling of good looks to the room, often making it easier in the daily routine.

When you wake up, always try to make your bed. Even if your routine is busy, find some simpler way to make it easier to fix it, not wasting too much time to accomplish this task.

In addition to that, maintain the organization inside the wardrobe as well. Set some time of the week to put it in order and don’t leave the clothes disorganized inside the drawers or on the hangers. With that, they remain in great condition, without having to look for any specific piece in the middle of the mess, making it easier to find the clothes on a daily basis.

We hope you like the tips, that they inspire you to adopt a different decoration or that they help you keep your room in order. Organization is very important to make the environment more harmonious and balanced, providing a good feeling when entering the room well organized and beautiful.
