Why did you decide to come to Carleton?
I decided to come to Carleton because it’s the hub of Canadian politics, which I’m very interested in. I also found that Carleton’s picturesque campus was the right fit for me.

What’s your fave thing to do on campus when you’re not studying?
My fave thing to do on campus when I’m not studying is hanging out with friends at Ollie’s or Mike’s Place. Perhaps making time for a game of chess, or calling up my family to check in.

Are you involved in any clubs or sports?
I am involved in a few clubs at Carleton, them being the Tennis Club, Model United Nations and Glee Club. I like to play soccer, basketball, football and rugby.

What do you like to do in your down time?
I like to hang out with friends, play sports, go to the gym, and walk along the canal.

What’s a random fact about you people may not know?
My grandpa’s cousin was Tim Horton. But I think everybody is some how related to him! [laughs]

What do you look for in a girl?
A girl, in my eyes, should be confident, smart, funny and outgoing. I love having common interests. She must be passionate and driven in any pursuit she may want.

Any celebrity crushes?
I have a HUGE crush on Blake Lively. As well as Rachel McAdams.

What’s your ideal date?
That’s a tough one. I’d have to say October 26th. Because it’s not too hot, not too cold, all you need is a light jacket. During this ideal date, we would have a nice walk along the canal behind Parliament leading to a pub where we would dine and relax.

What’s the most romantic thing you’ve ever done for a girl?
When in a relationship, it’s important to show you are happy and thankful for being with them. Romance is vital for a relationship to grow. From the smallest display of affection, like breakfast in bed, to a grandiose act like high tea at the Chateau Laurier. What matters most are constant displays of affection, big or small.

What’s a major turn off for you?
My major turn offs are neediness, lacking self-confidence, pessimism and smoking.
