Hello Ladies!!

Sorry I’ve been MIA the past couple of weeks, but with the new quarter starting, working two jobs and trying to see my friends, I have been swamped! This incidentally is what I decided to dedicate this week’s post to: dividing your time so that you can not only fulfill all your duties, but be able to have fun too. I mean where in college we’re meant to be having some fun too, right!?!

So, if you’re like me, you are not only going to college, but also working either a full time or part time job (and of course that itself is hectic already), but throw in spending time with your friends, family, and boy/girlfriend, you find yourself running around like a chicken with its head cut off. However, with a little planning and determination (and my help, of course) you will be able to reattach that head of yours and do it all with ease.

The first thing you need to do is go get yourself a planner and mark down the days and times you work and/or have classes. With that out of the way you will be able to see the days you’re off and the times you have free, which you can use for whatever you like, such as socializing! However, before you spend every free moment with loved ones, you must remember to schedule in time for yourself; this means study time, leisure time, time to work out; anything that benefits your mind, body, and soul.

Okay, okay I know what you’re thinking, “How is studying considered me time!?” Well when you study you are not only doing school work, but you are bettering your mind with knowledge and new discoveries! How does that not sound like “me time?” You’re doing something amazing for yourself by learning!

Many people believe that no one can do all this and be able to ever sleep, but IT IS POSSIBLE! I mean of course you can’t hang out and see everyone all on one day, or everyday for that matter, and some days you won’t have time at all. The key is to make time, to go out of your way to see your best friend or go to the gym. It really all comes down to planning! There is not much to say, but if it is important to you, you will find the time for it, whatever it may be.

P.S.

I know life isn’t easy and I know how important going to school/work is, but I want to tell you ladies, girl to girl, don’t forget to have fun. Life goes by really fast and people don’t always understand or stick around, so I just have to say try not to let it bring you down. Remember that people will come in and out of your lives constantly; just enjoy the time you have with them now and make memories that will last. Life doesn’t stop for anyone and I just want you all to enjoy the ride while you can.
