One home is a mansion in the Hollywood hills, while the other is a quiet snowed-in English cottage. This heartfelt movie is perfect to enjoy with friends and hot chocolate.
The Family Stone (2005)
My favorite movie to watch with my mom during the holidays is The Family Stone! Drama endures when the eldest son of a carefree family brings his conservative businesswoman girlfriend home for Christmas. This is one of my favorites because there are many humorous scenes as well as great character development. The all-star cast, including Diane Keaton and Sarah Jessica Parker, certainly make this movie a holiday classic.
National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (1989)
Who doesn’t love National Lampoon? Especially the holiday classic, Christmas Vacation, starring Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo. In this movie, the Griswalds are back and attempting to navigate the holiday season, but as always, chaos consumes their Christmas endeavors. This is a classic comedy to enjoy with your family!
