SS: Samer Saleh—friend to everybody, makes everyone feel welcome
HC: What are you involved with?
SS: Campus Crusade (Cru), I’ve dabbled in the SEC (Sales Engineering Club), and I’m a volunteer at the jail.
HC: Where do you see yourself ten years from now?
SS: I have absolutely no idea, BUT I would like to be married, it’s one of my bigger dreams. I don’t know where I would live, my life has taken so many turns I just have absolutely no idea, and I’m so excited for that.
HC: Who has had the greatest influence on your life?
SS: My parents, for showing me who God truly is, they always held me to a really really really high standard which gives me a sense of humility, resilience in the most bleak of circumstances, and a sense of finding the beauty in everyone.
HC: If we were to give you a million dollars what is the first thing you would spend it on?
SS: I would buy you [Austin and Allie] dinner (thanks Samer! We like you.) Then I would definitely buy my parents their small dream house on the Monterey coast and then I would pay for my sister’s school tuition and then I would donate the rest to those who need it most (I would most likely have to oversee how the money was spent)
HC: If you could go anywhere in the world right now where would you go and why?
SS: Egypt, no question. Because it’s home.
HC: What is your ideal first date experience?
SS: I would take this wonderful person to Ventana Grill, the restaurant on the Pismo Cliffs. Window seats for sure. Sunset would definitely be involved. Then a walk; long or short, totally up to her. And then to end, I would take her to “the spot”. I have yet to find it, but it may just end up being this private beach cliff I found in an undisclosed location (I can’t tell you guys).
HC: What is an ultimate deal breaker in a relationship?
SS: She doesn’t believe in God
HC: If your last name was a verb what would it mean?
SS: To love. I know that sounds corny, but I don’t really care. It’s what I’ve based my life on. Or to dream or create. Honestly this question is scary…
