4 Ways to Make Fall Break Count

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at C of C chapter.

For many of us, fall break is the first time that we’ll be leaving Charleston this semester. This is a chance to see family and friends, unwind, and enjoy our time off. But, even a few extra days off can be stressful. Here are some quick tips on how to manage your time and have a fun, productive fall break. (For those of you who will still be in Charleston, take a look at fun things going on here this weekend.)

1. Make a schedule

Have a plan for what you want to do and who you want to see over the break. Don’t forget to leave time for any assignments that you might need to work on and extra curricular responsibilities you might have.

2. Get school work done early

No one wants to be spending Tuesday night after a great weekend stuck in the library. Budget your time to get homework done before fall break begins, and chip away at a little bit of work every night. This will make coming back to campus so much easier after four days off.

3. Spend quality time with friends and family

Whether you’re visiting friends or going back home, take advantage of the chance to get together with people that you haven’t seen since the summer.

4. Relax!

No matter what your plans for this fall break are, make sure you take the time to chill out. College is stressful, and we all need a day or two to completely forget about our responsibilities, binge watch Netflix, and eat junk food.

Above all, remember to have fun!

See you Wednesday, Collegiettes.
