With finals week coming up, there’s going to be some days where coffee will be necessary. Before you stop at the Starbucks on campus, you’ll want to know the drink that will satisfy your caffeine needs. Here are a few Starbucks drinks that are extremely tasty but also comes with a decent amount of caffeine.
Nitro Cold Brew – 345 mg
The nitro cold brew has a smoother taste compared to iced coffee. To sweeten it up, you can try the nitro cold brew with sweet cream or the cascara cold foam.
Blonde Roast – 360 mg
Out of all their brewed coffee, the blonde roast has the most caffeine with 360mg in a grande. It’s a light roast with an even and mellow taste. It pairs well with a shot of vanilla, caramel or hazelnut syrup.
Iced Americano – 225 mg
An Americano is simply espresso and water. It’s a great alternative to iced coffee if you want a stronger taste and more caffeine. With 75mg per shot, the grande americano is 225mg and the venti is 300mg.
Caffe Mocha – 175 mg
When I want something a bit sweeter, the caffe mocha is my go to. It’s simply just espresso and milk blended with their mocha sauce. I usually get it with almond milk and if I want an extra boost, I add in an extra shot of espresso.
Matcha Green Tea Latte – 80 mg
If you’re not a coffee person, the matcha green tea latte still gives you a little caffeine kick. The green tea is blended with matcha and milk making it smooth and creamy.
