Here are some tips to keep in mind as you take on your first exams! It’s about that time of the semester where we all start panicking over our upcoming midterms.

1. Lay out all the chapters you need to cover a week before the exam. Space it out so you can take your time covering each chapter instead of cramming it all in the night before. Procrastinating is the worst thing you can do to yourself for an exam.

2. Go to class, the best thing you can do to yourself is go to class and pay attention in it. I promise, you will find yourself cutting down on so much studying time if you just do this one simple thing. Trust me, I know it’s easier said then done.

3. Take care of yourself. Make sure you get your sleep in and you eat a nutritious breakfast. I can’t tell you how many times people told me to do that and I simply just ignored it. Once you do it you’ll realize how great you feel while taking the exam, and how everything processes so much smoother.
