What are your aspirations: To be happy. Most wish for success and to be rich but what does all of that matter if you aren’t happy. I am all about self-acceptance and self-love, these things will help me become the individual the I wish to become.
Are you involved in any organizations on campus: Yes I currently hold two positions on two student run organizations here on campus. I am the captain of Step Expression and I am the president of Kinks, Curls and Coils.
What do you love most about being apart of Step Expression and Kinks, Curls and Coils? I love my organizations! Taking on these leadership roles has helped me build incredible bonds with numerous individuals here on Buffalo State’s campus. I started out as a member of Step Expression 3 years ago and worked my way up to Secretary and then finally Captain. This team has helped me gain a sense of teamwork and responsibility. Myself along with 4 other ladies decided to start an organization, Kinks,Curls and Coils, dedicated to the personal development of our members. Our aim was to create a natural hair forum of all aesthetics and make individuals feel comfortable in their own skin. This organization is my baby and is very special to me. Being a founder of this organization and seeing how beautifully it has flourished within the past two years shows me that I can do absolutely anything I put my mind to.
