What do you do for Victoria’s Secret PINK at BU?
It’s the first year of VS PINK at BU, and I could not be more excited by the incredible amount of involvement in our events, and to hold the events we’re planning for later in the semester! As a campus representative for VS PINK at BU, my job is to plan and run at least four events per semester, usually that promote a specific type of apparel by PINK. I also help run our social media accounts, which we frequently use to hold contests and give away PINK merchandise. There are two campus representatives, and we’ve hired a team of eight amazing BU girls to help us promote PINK on campus and run our events. So far, we’ve done a PINK Spirit week were we gave a way tons of prizes and promoted VS PINK at BU to as many girls on campus as possible. We are currently in the middle of our Street Sport Promotion, where we are gifting various dance and sports teams around BU with PINK merchandise and also holding giveaways through our social media so that all girls at BU have a chance to win.
What events are you planning for later in the semester?
Right now we’re working on the plans for our Bra & Panty Party, which will be towards the end of November. We will be giving away tons of PINK bras and panties, plus we’ll have free food, a DJ, and lots of games to win more free merchandise from PINK! Towards the end of the semester, we will be throwing our biggest and most exciting event of the year– but that one’s a surprise!
What’s the purpose of having PINK campus reps at BU?
Our main goal this year is to get BU girls excited about the PINK line and to help PINK create apparel that BU girls will love!
