1.     Quote Canvas

This idea is really simple and gives you full control over the look – kind of like creating your own poster! Pick up any size stretch canvas from a craft/art store, or even a piece of cardboard you have lying around. Buy some letter stencils and paint, and pick your favorite quote (or you can just paint a design). These wall decorations will go with anything, and will only need a day to dry.

2.     Lit-Up Photos

It’s very rare that a girl’s dorm room will be lacking pictures, but make yours unique by combining your pictures with another dorm staple: string lights! Clip the photos onto the lights’ wires with clothespins (mini ones are at craft stores) and hang them anywhere!

3.     Personalized Letter

Almost every craft store sells various sizes of wooden letters, so pick up your initials, or BU’s, buy some paint and/or rhinestones, and decorate it! This idea is super fast and easy, and would look great next to some painted canvases.

4.     Key-Frame

Need a place to hang your room keys? Pick up a cheap picture frame and mount it to the wall, attaching small hooks to the back of the frame. This gives you space to hang your keys and jewelry once you hit Newbury Street!
