Designer Spotlight: Tory Burch

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BU chapter.

Tory Burch is one of my favorite designers for her bright, feminine, and chic clothing. I must admit that I was not always the huge fan that I am now. I didn’t think there was anything beyond the tunics and black patent leather Tory Burch Flats but I was surely mistaken. When I walked into the Tory Burch store I fell in love with everything! From the bright colors, the bold prints, and all the different textures (tweed, sequins, etc). Tory Burch’s clothing is suitable for anyone at any age but it can get expensive, so if you don’t have an outlet near you here’s how to get “The Tory Burch Look”!

1. Tweed Jacket
Tory Burch is all about the fitted tweed jacket; it can be in a fun bright color or a classic neutral.
Burch featured a gorgeous black and white tweed jacket on the Fall 2012 RTW runway that gives the same effect as this Zara blazer ($89). You can pair the blazer with jeans, flats, and a bright colored bag for a laid back look.

2. Patterns
Think plaid, polka dots, stripes, and floral and the brighter the better!
This Madewell top ($89) paired with white silk shorts and nude flats would be perfection!

3. The Perfect Handbag
Try this H&M Green Satchel ($24) for a bright pop of color.
