4 Ways to Spend Valentine’s Day

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BU chapter.
Kodaline at Paradise Rock Club: You know that croon-y acoustic sounding group that only wants to find somebody? Well they’re coming to Boston on the 14th! You can find tickets online and it’s conveniently located in West Campus so you don’t even have to stray too far from home. Grab some friends or a significant other and go catch some good music.

Frog Pond Ice Skating: If you’re feeling up for the cold, the frog pond is a nice way to wind down winter activities and spend an evening in Boston. Liberty Mutual is currently offering free adult passes now through February 23rd, so it’s even free! All you have to do is go to this site here and register.

Lovin’ the Square: Harvard Square’s Winter Festival is Valentines themed all weekend long. It’s a nice chance to get off campus for a simple change of scenery. Restaurants and local eateries are offering a variety of specials and retailers have some fun deals for the festivities.

Dinner and a Movie: Shocking, I know, but there are some great movies hitting theaters. Not to mention, Boston hosts a plethora of restaurants. If you don’t feel like going through the hassle of making a reservation or trekking it over to the theater, stay in, cook an easy dinner, and cuddle up on the couch for some Netflix.
