3 Shows to Watch this Fall

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bryn Mawr chapter.

The leaves are changing, the air is getting cooler and nights are starting earlier. This can mean only one thing: new shows are coming to a TV near you. Here are some of the shows I’m looking out for, and ones you should too!

Chilling Tales of Sabrina

There is nothing I love more than a creepy version of a show I already love. Coming out October 26 on Netflix, this show is a perfect way to spend your Halloween weekend.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

If you haven’t seen season 1 yet, drop everything and head to Amazon Prime right now. The show follows a (fictional) Bryn Mawr alum who pursues a career in comedy after her husband leaves her. The whole season made me feel so warm and happy inside, and although we don’t have a date for the season yet, Amazon promises that it’s coming “soon.”

Riverdale

Like Sabrina, Riverdale takes the fun Archie Comics and turns them into a dark, most of the time very ridiculous series starring an unbelievable “teenaged” cast (they’re supposed to be in high school, but I can’t buy it). Regardless, the show is still enjoyable, and I find myself getting caught up in all the drama, and really, that’s all that matters. The first two seasons are available on Netflix, so go ahead and catch up before season 3 on October 10!
