This week we are talking about Drugs on Campus: The Smoking, Snorting, and Pill-Popping Truth. Drugs are a big deal, because the majority of them are easy to get and happen to be kind of illegal. Here is the top two tips in this chapter dealing with campus drugs:
About Drugs on Campus: Drugs are around. You can choose to do drugs or not be around drugs. If you find that drugs choose to be around you, then you’re probably on drugs because drugs can’t make choices. You can avoid drugs if you really try, by not being around the people that do them or leaving parties that have them. Just be smart and think about the consequences that may occur if you take drugs or are around them.
Just Don’t Accidently Die: Be smart about being stupid. The obvious choice is to avoid drugs. But we can’t tell you what to do and what not to do. It’s your call. Please, just don’t accidently die. Overdose is very common with many different types of people, from common people off the streets to celebrities. Please be careful – you have people who love you and care about your wellbeing.
Drugs can be abused very easily and we want you to be safe and not be one of those people. Also remember you came here for academics first, fun second. So if you are going to do drugs do it in a safe manner and face the consequences if caught. Think about how your parents would feel if you got kicked out.
