Holiday Gift Guide: To Mom

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bryant chapter.

The holidays are a perfect time to give back to your mom and show her how much you appreciate her! Her Campus knows that sometimes it can be hard to pick out something for your mom, so here are some gift ideas. We have gifts for every mom’s style and all your price ranges.  Be sure to check out the rest of our Holiday Gift Guide this week too!

Pajamas

Who doesn’t like pajamas! Your mom will get a lot of use out of them and every time she wears them she will think of you! You can get a holiday pair or simpler set. You can find a pair of pajamas that will fit her style and your price range! Here is a jolly pair from Target that’s currently $25.

Slippers

Any mom would love a pair of slippers to keep her feet warm and cozy! Slippers are the perfect gift by itself or as an addition to another gift (like those pjs). These ones are also from Target and are only $10.

Mugs

A mug is a perfect gift for your mom. She can enjoy a cup of her favorite beverage and remember you while doing it. Add in a box of her favorite tea, hot chocolate mix, coffee, or even K-Cups!

Candles

Candles aren’t just great for your mom, but for your whole family! They make the entire house smell so good. Yankee Candle has different sizes and scents for you to choose from. They also have gift sets already made. Not sure what scent to get? Food/fruit/ bakery scents are always great for the kitchen! A great thing to add is a wick cutter (which you can find at Yankee Candle) so that the wax burns evenly.

Scarves and gloves

For most of us, scarves and gloves are an essential in order to stay warm in these cold temperatures. Scarves are a perfect way to accessorize and keep you warm, especially knit ones! Gloves are also a necessity. You can get a nice pair of leather gloves for driving or (if she has a touch screen phone) you can get her a pair of touch screen gloves so her hands can stay warm while using her phone. The scarf in the picture is $19.99 at Target and the gloves are Isotoner touch screen gloves for $17.99.

Beauty Bundle

If your mom likes to wear makeup or likes skincare, a beauty bundle is a perfect way to get some great products for her in a cute gift set! You can put some of your favorite makeup products in there that you think she needs to try or a bag full of skincare that will make her skin look and feel great (and maybe even more youthful for our moms that want to look younger)! You can put these gifts in a gift basket, a stocking, or a cute re-usable small tote! Here is a link to a video that has more ideas about it:
