HC Bryant Girls: Where Are They Now?

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bryant chapter.

Name: Nikki Baccaro

Where I work: Jade Marketing Group, West Hartford, CT

Where I live: Berlin, CT

What I miss about Bryant: Literally… everything. Graduation day was the best and worst day of my life. Cherish every single moment and don’t rush away your time in college!

Favorite part of PGL(Post Grad Life): I am currently a sales and merchandising assistant at a denim company. Because of my job, I have been fortunate enough to travel to many different states across the U.S. (states I would never have chosen to go to on my own). One thing I have learned from all this traveling is there really is no place like home…especially when your parents cook dinner!

Name: Jessica Kline

Where I work: EMC Corporation – HQ in Hopkinton, MA

Where I live: Greater Boston Area

What I miss most about Bryant: Her Campus, Rentes, my jobs at the Bookstore and Amica Center, Rentes, my roommates, Rentes, the sunsets, Rentes, and being 8 minutes away from my best friend (she went to Providence College), oh and Rentes I miss a little bit.

Favorite Part of PGL: Independence. So much of my life has changed since I graduated and it’s nice to be able to be independent and know that I have control over my happiness. I always was able to have control over my own happiness, but when you’re not living under Mom and Dad’s roof anymore, you have a different respect for your happiness and realize that you are the most important person in your life. You learn to be selfish without losing your generosity and care for others.

Name: Devon Correll

Where I work: I am currently working at Oracle as a Business Development Consultant.

Where I live: Burlington, MA.

What I miss most about Bryant: is always having my friends in arms reach. Now it’s hard to even see them on a monthly basis.

Favorite part of PGL: Definitely the independence and living on my own, also the income of a full time job is pretty cool too.

Name:  Pavielle Santos

Where I work: Baribault Jewelers – Glastonbury,CT

Where I live: South Windsor, CT

What I miss most about Bryant: I’ve got to say, I miss Her Campus the most!

Favorite Part about PGL: My favorite part about PGL is truly being able to live life to the fullest! I work as a Marketing Coordinator & Merchandiser for a high end jeweler in CT and what I have learned and the experiences I have had only in the 5 months since graduation have been incredible. On days off, I have time to do really whatever I want without having the stress of homework and studying. Even though some of you may dread graduating, once you start the next chapter of your life, you actually have time to live it and enjoy it in a way you have yet to. It’s amazing!

Name: Dani Freeman

Where I work: DENTSPLY Implants- Waltham, Mass

Where I live: Greater Boston Area

What I miss most about Bryant: Living on my own without having to pay bills, my six Bryant roomies, PO block

Favorite part of PGL: getting paid, living in a new area and meeting new people every weekend (hard to do by your 4th year at Bryant)

Name: Hillary Coombs

Where I Work: Hanna Instruments

Living – Con mis padres

What I miss most about Bryant: being surrounded by fifty best friends at all times. I love my alone time after work, but at Bryant you always had someone to do something with you, even if it was just to get gas. Whether you have roommates or not post grad – everyone is on their own schedules.

Favorite part of PGL: The ability to see your hard work and dedication directly reflected in your career. In school you are working towards a “greater” goal of getting a job, and now every step I take and extra work I do is actually contributing to my career. Also, the $$$!

Name: Jenna Bell

Where I work: Avid Marketing Group

Where I live – Wethersfield CT

What I miss most about Bryant: What I don’t miss would be a shorter list. I miss living within steps of 50 of my best friends and always knowing someone awesome is no further than a couple doors down. Having a neighborhood of friends is my life goal.

Favorite part of PGL: Being independent and getting to make new life decisions on my own. It’s the first time in my life nothing is planned for the future which is scary but also pretty cool. Oh and no homework.
