8 Reasons “Lose My Breath” Exemplifies Most Collegiettes’ Sex Lives

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bryant chapter.

Disclaimer: All of us collegiettes love to roll around in the sheets with our special someone but we cannot stress enough the importance of doing it safely!  Never hesitate to use a condom, ALWAYS use one! The following article is in no way intentionally discriminating against males-we love them but us girls can joke once in a while.

1. “Can you keep up? Baby boy, make me lose my breath”: Not much explaining needed here – it isn’t great if we’re not out of breath.

2. “I’m startin’ to believe that I’m way too much for you, all that talk but it seems like you can’t come through:” How often does this happen? If you can’t walk the walk, don’t talk the talk. It’s that simple.

3. “Two things I don’t like when Im tryin’ to get my groove, is a partner that meets me only half way and just can’t prove:” No one wants to put in all the work, and ladies especially don’t want to feel like they have to control the situation. Is it that hard to let us know you want it?

4. “Didn’t mama teach you to give affection?” While we want them to take control, the whole “it’s over, so….. bye” thing is just as much as a turnoff; and a sure fire way to ruin a girls’ confidence.

5. “I put it right there, made it easy for you to get to:” Honey, if you need a map then we’re already asking ourselves how we found our way into this situation.

6. “Gave you the wheel, but you can’t drive me:” Similar to #2, we often find ourselves handing over the control to our macho man, and then he isn’t capable of moving out of missionary

7. “If you can’t make me say OOOO:” again, no explanation needed

8. “Why you ask for some and you really want none?” #8 explains the guy who talks to you all night, invites you over, brings you upstairs and then decides he should walk you home. LIKE WHAT? I could have walked myself home an hour ago.
