5 Reasons To Have A Girl-Crush On Carrie Underwood

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bryant chapter.

To say that Carrie Underwood killed it at the CMA’s probably would be the understatement of the century. While her flawless presence and perfect body make our jealously sensors go through the roof, we can all fully admit to having a not-so-secret girl crush on her. Doesn’t it seem like she’s got it all? Well, that’s probably because she does. Here are five reasons it’s acceptable for us girls to want to be Carrie (or take her to bed).

1. Most importantly- her legs. While enthusiastically jumping around stage, her legs never even let out a jiggle.  Most of us would have to slave away for hours at the gym to even have the slightest chance of legs this sculpted, but here she stands, not flexing, and her legs are still flawless.

2. In Brad and Carries opening at the CMA’s, she had no problem cracking light jokes about current celebrity mishaps. Her references to Miley’s downward-spiraling reputation made the crowd erupt in laughter, and she wasn’t even afriad to let out a laugh at her own jokes. With that sense of humor and natural confidence, who could ever resist her?

3. Carrie’s voice is the human equivilent to the voice of an angel. In her performance she flawlessly transitioned from ‘Good Girl’, to ‘Blown Away’, to  ‘Two Black Cadillacs’, and finally into ‘See you Again’.  Most of us couldn’t even remember the words to four songs, let alone sing them with such power and ease.

4. It’s safe to say we all wish we had enough money to have ten outfit changes in one night. While some celebrities overdo it with their elaborate gowns and ridiculous accessories, Carrie managed to have ten extremely different yet tasteful wardrobe changes.

5. Not only does Carrie’s husband have gorgeous blue eyes that will stop you in your tracks, but we’re sure she doesn’t complain that he is also a manly, muscular professional hockey player. There’s more to the man than just his looks though; he also bought her a 2 million dollar engagement ring.
