My friends would describe me in 3 words as… sarcastic, reliable, nerdy

Favorite quality in a girl: Outgoing, a good sense of humor and a little stubborn.

Where is your favorite place you have traveled to? Calcutta India – by far one of the most interesting places I have been. Most of my family still lives there and visiting really opened my eyes to a completely different way of life.

When you’re not in class, what are you doing? Either at Sherman for dinner with the guys, studying in the science center or hanging out with friends.

Describe your most embarrassing moment. When I was in the second grade I got into a habit of trying to scare my mother and sister every day by jumping out behind something and yelling “BOO!”. Well one day we went to the mall, while my mother took my little sister to the bathroom (she was 3 at the time) I hid behind
a corner and waited for them to walk down the hall. When I heard them leave the bathroom and start walking towards me I jumped out and screamed as loud as I could. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize there was another woman walking in front of them. She started to scream and dropped all her bags. My mother had to calm her down and apologize for about 10 minutes – after that day I stopped trying to scare them.

What is an interesting fact most people don’t know about you? I don’t really like to go out to eat, my mother is probably one of the best cooks I know, and I look forward to breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day when I’m home. She offered to come with me to college and cook all my meals – I seriously considered it.

Three things you can’t live without: My family, my friends and the car I bought my junior year of high school.

Where on campus do you feel most at home? In the suite with my close guy friends – its just as messy as my room at home and the company couldn’t be better.

What is the most dangerous thing you have ever done? Cliff jumping in Negril, Jamaica at a place called Rick’s Cafe.

What is your best Brandeis memory? The birthday party my friends threw for my freshman year, and the Sherman brunch that occurred the morning after.

What are your plans for the summer? Working on my research project and hanging out with friends on campus. Playing a lot of pickup wiffleball, seeing friends from high school and making a lot of trips to the cape. My family tries to go to a different country each summer, so hopefully I will get to jet away somewhere for a week.
