Fall is here and it’s time to add some cozy jams to your playlists! Here are some of my favorite songs that give me all the fall feels.

1.“Cinnamon Girl” by Lana Del Rey

“Cinnamon Girl”  has the best chill vibes and a backing track that just makes you want to listen to the song on repeat. And Lana’s new album is full of amazing songs, so it’s a must listen.

2. “Shrike” by Hozier

Hozier’s beautiful, full voice always reminds me of being inside on a rainy fall day. This song gives me lots of feels, and it’s kind of melancholy but still pretty. His whole Wasteland, Baby! is pure gold, in my opinion.

3.“Your Protector” by Fleet Foxes

There’s something about the music of Fleet Foxes that always puts me in the perfect mood for fall. The composition of their music is always so interesting, and this song isn’t any different. If rock/indie folk is your things, do yourself a favor and blast some Fleet Foxes right now.

4.“Fireside” by Arctic Monkeys

I used to listen to the AM album by Arctic Monkeys on repeat during the fall of my freshman year of high school, so listening to this song really takes me back. This song is really mellow but fun and makes the perfect addition to your fall playlist.

5. “Why Won’t You Make Up Your Mind?” by Tame Impala

Needless to say, I’m a huge fan of Tame Impala. I’ve always been interested in their production style and I love the seventies psychedelic rock sound of this song. If you enjoy listening to vibey alternative music, I cannot recommend Tame Impala enough.

6. “Heaven’s Only Wishful” by MorMor

I actually found this song on Spotify by chance and I just can’t seem to stop listening to it. I love the style of this song and I think it fits in well with the rest of the music in my fall playlist. The synth almost reminds me of the Stranger Things soundtrack at times, which is always fun.

7. “Don’t Wanna Fight” by Alabama Shakes

Alabama Shakes have a great soulful rock sound. Their music never disappoints and they’re an awesome band with a female lead singer and guitarist. This song is a great rock song to add to any playlist.

8. “From the Dining Table” by Harry Styles

This song is so beautiful that it makes me cry. I just want to snuggle up with a blanket and a mug of coffee and listen to this song on repeat. And Harry Styles is amazing so what’s not to love?

9. “Rhiannon” by Fleetwood Mac

Even if you’re not a Fleetwood Mac fan, you’ve probably heard this song if you’ve watched American Horror Story’s third season, Coven. Stevie Nicks guest starred in an episode and performed this spooky song. This song is perfect for providing the chilling vibes of Halloween without having to listen to Halloween party music.

10. “SUPERPOSITION” by Daniel Caesar

If you like listening to R&B, you’ll love Daniel Caesar’s music and voice. This song is from his newest album, Case Study 01. John Mayer is featured on this song and also was a part of producing the album. With these two artists involved, it really can’t get better.

Creating your own playlists is a great way to discover new music and curate soundtracks to certain moments in your life. Take a listen to some of these songs and enjoy this fall season!
