Favorite Song in 8th Grade?
Usher’s “Yeah”

Pick-up line you would never use (but kind of want to)?
“Hey baby, I noticed you noticing me; so, I just want to put you on notice that I noticed you too.”

Favorite Cereal?
A very close tie between LIFE and Honey Bunches of Oats with Strawberries

Movie you’ve seen more than 3 times?
Pineapple Express and Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Both were pretty much always on without fail in Cranin’s room Freshman year.

Transformers or Power Rangers?
Power Rangers fo’sure….you just can’t beat the killer episode when Tommy turns from Green to White Ranger

If you were the voice of a non-human animated character (ex Nemo of Finding Nemo), what kind of animal would you be? What would your name be?
Without giving it much thought…I would probably be a ferocious but very suave/dashing/handsome/great with the ladies black bear. I would be sporting a fine Italian made tux ….at all times.  My name would most definitely be Wonny-the-Pooh, Wonny for short.  I am arch nemesis to Winnie but that’s a story for later….it’s really complicated.

Favorite pair (a.k.a. “power pair”) of shoes?
If you are serious about tennis like I am you will be rocking the adidas barricades 6.0s when you hit the pavement.

Would you rather attend a NASCAR race or a bull fight?
Respecting my friend Ernest Hemingway I would have to say bull fight.

Color you look best in according to you/your mom?
Well, this is a brain buster of a question because you see I like to accent my clothing and well my mother says I always look handsome.

What’s your scent?
Sex Panther
Joanna Buffum is a senior English major and Anthropology minor at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.  She is from Morristown, NJ and in the summer of 2009 she was an advertising intern for OK! Magazine and the editorial blog intern for Zagat Survey in New York City. This past summer she was an editorial intern for MTV World's music website called MTV Iggy, writing fun things like album and concert reviews for bands you have never heard of before. Her favorite books are basically anything involving fantasy fiction, especially the Harry Potter series and “Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell” by Susanna Clarke. In her free time she enjoys snowboarding, playing intramural field hockey, watching House MD, and making paninis. In the spring of 2010 she studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, and she misses the friendly, tall, and unusually attractive Danish people more than she can say. After college, she plans on pursuing a career in writing, but it can be anywhere from television script writing, to magazine journalism, to book publishing.
