This week, the freshman-contributor team sought out (and successfully found) our first official female campus cutie! High time, in our opinion. Introducing… Phoebe Galbraith!
Age: 20.
Major: Psychology, with a future in law.
Year: Sophomore.
Hometown: Las Vegas, Nevada.
Relationship Status: Single.
Her Campus Boise State: Congrats on campus cutie, Pheobe! Since we’re in Starbucks right now, what’s your favorite drink?
Phoebe Galbraith: Right now my favorite winter one is the salted caramel mocha, but I always get the Valencia Orange refresher too!
HC: You can never go wrong with chocolate! So we hear you’re in a sorority here at Boise State. Which sorority are you repping?
PG: I’m in Alpha Xi Delta. I was just elected to be a program’s vice president and I like it because being involved in a sorority is just something I always knew I wanted to do, but the longer I am the more I appreciate my sisters. (Being involved in a sorority) teaches you leadership skills and how to interact with different people. It’s just a really good experience.
HC: What else are you involved with on campus?
PG: So, I’m in the honors college and I’m a peer mentor for them, obviously. I’m also on PanHellenic council, which is like the governing body for all of the sororities. And then I also work for admissions. I’m hoping to be an orientation leader.
HC: Beauty and brains, huh? So, tell us something nobody knows about you!
PG: *hilarious facial expressions* I don’t know….hmmm….so most people would not know that I was born in farm country in the middle of nowhere, or that I cheered for 6 years.
HC: Why don’t you cheer here?
PG: After high school I was just done.
HC: Fair enough. So, have you ever met a celebrity? Give us the deets!
PG: I met Travie McCoy from Gym Class Heroes! They let us in too far back stage. They just let us back there, and he came off stage and we talked and it was pretty magical. Uh, I was very extremely close to Adrian Grenier at a restaurant in Las Vegas once! And one time at a One Direction concert I made eye contact with Harry Styles!!
HC: Eye contact with Harry Styles?! So jealous! Alright last question, what’s your favorite part of the holidays?
PG: The decorations are probably my favorite thing. Everything’s glittery and fabulous!
