Her Campus: What activities are you involved in on campus?
Rebecca Swisher: I’m in SNA which is Student Nurses Association, Trio, Chi Alpha Epsilon Honor Society, and cheerleading.

HC: What got you into cheerleading?
RS: I have done it since fourth grade.  My mom did it and in elementary school I always remember watching the high school cheerleaders.  I did dance and gymnastics and I loved the thrill of stunting and tumbling as well as cheering on others.

HC: Is this your first experience being captain?
RS: My high school didn’t do designated captains.  Every senior was a captain.

HC: What made you decide you wanted to come to Bloomsburg?
RS: I grew up in Berwick which is like ten minutes away from Bloom, and I moved an hour and a half away in fifth grade.  I always loved the “beautiful town feel” Bloom had and all my family was in the area.

HC: If you could pick one place in the world to vacation, with all costs aside, where would it be and why?
RS: I would travel basically to any beautiful tropical island with crystal blue water because I have never left the States, and I have only experienced the gross Ocean City, Maryland and Ocean City, New Jersey ocean water.  I think it would be a beautiful and an amazing experience.

HC: Who is your celebrity crush?
RS: If I had to choose… Channing Tatum.

Favorite…
…Restaurant? Olive Garden.
…Food? Ooooh, I have lots, but I love Fettuccini Chicken Alfredo.
…Movie? Polar Express.
…Holiday? Christmas!!!
…Quote? I have two –
“Even when there is no evidence to point to, say to yourself, it is possible.”
“A day without laughter is a wasted day.”

I love to write when I'm bored and have the free time.  The best decision I ever made was coming to Bloomsburg.  Since I've been accepted I joined the cheerleading team and couldn't be happier! :)
