Her Campus: What made you choose your major?Laura Gerhard: Being an athlete, I want to continue my work with sports after my college career and I feel like I will be able to connect with the athletes I work with better since I know what they have gone through.
HC: Juggling school and field hockey must be hard, how do you handle it?LG: Time management is huge! I take advantage of the free time I have when I don’t have class or field hockey.
HC: You’ve almost completed a full year of college, what have you learned this past year that incoming freshman should know?LG: Cramming is never a good idea. Use your time wisely so you’re not doing all of your work last minute.
HC: What are your plans for the summer?LG: I will be lifeguarding at my local pool and training for field hockey.
