A Husky’s Graduation Bucket List

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bloom U chapter.

Whether graduation is upon you in a little less than four short weeks, or you’ll be receiving your diploma this upcoming May, many seniors may feel as though their time here at Bloomsburg is quickly running out. What will we do without Bloomin Bagel within walking distance to nurse our hangovers from a long Friday night? Where will we be without a delicous pretzelini from Tri Pi to indulge in at 4a.m.? While these are some of the more obvious Bloomsburg classics that we seniors will be soaking up as much as we can before graduation, there’s still a lot more that we haven’t thought about doing before we set out for the real world.

25 things you have to do one last time (or for the first time) before leaving Bloom for good…

  1. Receive a “hardware shot” on the barber chair
  2. Sing karaoke at Good Old Days
  3. Skinny dip in the Lion’s Gate pool
  4. Ride the drunk bus
  5. Get a computer to work on your first try at the library
  6. See the inside of the Phi Sig mansion on Lightstreet
  7. Figure out how to get the downtown bus driver to respond to your “thank you” with anything besides “see ya!”
  8. Obtain a piece of $2 Bob paraphernalia
  9. Bring your own alcohol into Ready-Go-Burrito (bet you didn’t know they were BYOB)
  10. Eat an entire order of Good Old Days’ infamous Tornado Wings (cash reward if you can find out how they make that heavenly sauce!)
  11. Put soap in the fountain on campus… and don’t get caught
  12. Find out who Roongo is!!!!
  13. Crash a party where you don’t know anyone… like you used to freshman year
  14. Make out with a townie
  15. Cut across the quad during rush hour class traffic
  16. Ride the cow outside of The Big Chill without getting harassed by the employment
  17. Dress the statue outside of the library
  18. Attend Capitol Trivia Night and see what you’ve actually learned in class
  19. Have a drink in the basement of Hess’ Tavern
  20. Get your hot professor’s phone number
  21. Climb the rock wall on upper campus that’s hidden in the woods
  22. Find out where the hell Watermelon Suck really is
  23. Rollerblade/scooter/sled down Pixie Hill
  24. See the inside of Santa’s Cottage in front of the diner
  25. Go for a dip in the fountain downtown
