HC’s Guide to Starbucks’ Fall Drinks

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bloom U chapter.

For those who are excited for something new to drink when you go to Starbucks, consider this. Come fall season, the Pumpkin Spice Latte is not the only yummy fall favorite. The Salted Caramel Mocha is a delicious fall favorite. Here are some things to think about when waiting in line at your favorite Starbucks. Keep in mind, each drink can be made hot, iced, or blended into a Frappuccino.

The Salted Caramel Mocha

The Salted Caramel Mocha starts off with a yummy salty-sweet taste. The salt sprinkled on top accentuates the sweet caramel flavors. Before thinking about skipping the salt, think about a yummy chocolate covered pretzel. Once you have finished off the top of the drink, the toasty caramel flavors throughout the drink make it a delicious fall favorite. As you drink the Salted Caramel Mocha, the drink gets sweeter and gets you excited for fall. If you are thinking about skipping the whipped cream to save on calories, make sure you get foam on top. This way, the salt stays on top and does not dissipate throughout the drink.

Pumpkin Spice

The anticipated Pumpkin Spice Latte is just the right blend of spice and pumpkin. This drink combines the creamy flavors of pumpkin with some yummy fall spices. As you drink, continue to stir or shake it up (gently!) and keep on drinking. If you are looking for a little extra kick, have your barista shake a little extra pumpkin spice on top.
