Her Campus: How would you describe your style?Alex Harman: I would describe my style as simple, yet elegant. If I wear something simple and to the point, I always like to dress it up with cute jewelry and accessories. I always try to keep my outfits as classy as possible, I live by the quote, “Elegance is the only beauty that never fades.” -Audrey Hepburn

HC: What is your favorite fall clothing item?AH: When I think fall I automatically think big knit sweaters and scarves. I cannot choose just one of these clothing items because they are both very essential in my everyday attire. Fall is such a great season to look adorable and be comfortable at the same time. It’s my favorite time of year for exploring the new fashion trends.

HC: Who would you consider to be your style icon and why?AH: Audrey Hepburn would definitely be my style icon because she has always been my idol and she is the definition of the word classy. She was so simple yet so elegant with her little black dresses and pearl earrings.

HC: What is your favorite fashion trend right now?AH: My favorite trend right now would have to be the high wasted shorts/pants with crop tops and a kimono. This outfit is very popular, but is very stylish on young girls. This outfit can be worn casually or dressy depending on the accessories and shoes you wear with it. You can dress it up or dress it down!

HC: What is your favorite clothing item that you can’t live without?AH: I love all of my clothes, but I CANNOT live without my jewelry. My watch, my Alex and Ani, and my Lei-Lei bracelets are a MUST in my everyday wardrobe. I tend to wear them with even the most casual outfits. I even tend to spruce up my plainest outfits with my jewelry and it makes me feel dressed up even when I am dressing down.

Favorite…Place to shop: Nordstrom, Urban Outfitters, and Forever 21. I can’t just choose one!Designer: Michael KorsJewelry Designer: Kate SpadeColor to wear: Neutral colors (Browns, Blacks, Tans)
