Her Campus: What activities are you involved in on campus?Ashley Rhodes: I am the current president of Alpha Sigma Tau National Sorority. I am actually also in Sigma Tau Delta, honors English Fraternity.

HC: How has being the president of a sorority affected you?AR: It has taught me time management skills for sure. Leadership skills is also a big part in running this position because it’s not easy being in charge of  50+ girls. It’s definitely a lot of responsibility! I have also made a lot of connections through networking. Being president I learned how to work effectively with a large group of diverse personalities.

HC: What are you going to miss most about Bloomsburg once you graduate this spring?AR: All of my sisters and friends!! Bloomsburg is like my second home.

HC: What is your dream job?AR: I want to be a 9th grade English teacher somewhere down south. Preferably in either North or South Carolina!

HC: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?AR: I hate this question, but I hope to have a family of my own in ten years! I also would really like to have a successful teaching job.
