If it seems like most of our chapter’s articles have been about Halloween, it’s because they have been! Halloween is basically the only big holiday falling in October, and it’s especially exciting for girls who want to express their creative side. The spooky theme is something that’s so much fun to experiment with.

What says Halloween more than chocolate and other yummy snacks? Here are a few quick, easy and delicious recipes you can serve at your Halloween party, or just make them for yourself as an indulgent Halloween treat!

Cake pops: Okay, who doesn’t love these? I first discovered them at Starbucks and loved them! Cake pops are so easy to make. If you don’t own a cake pop maker, just use your favorite store brand cake mix and make mini ball-like cakes. When the cakes are ready, it’s so easy to decorate them Halloween-like. Use food colorings and frosting to make adorable pumpkin cake pops!

Witches’ brew AKA punch: A classic staple for any Halloween party. Use your favorite punch or punch recipe and pour it into a big Halloween candy bowl. These can be found at any party store.

Roasted pumpkin seeds: A healthy option for Halloween snacking! Is this too good to be true? Luckily not! You can easily make these yourself if you’re carving pumpkin for jack-o-lanterns: remove the seeds and coat them with some salt and oil. Bake them until golden brown.

Halloween pizza: It’s as good as it sounds. Buy or bake your favorite chocolate chip cookie cake, and then top it with white frosting. The frosting will act as glue, allowing you to top your cookie cake with your favorite Halloween treats. Candy corn and chocolate chips are small and simple enough to be used as toppings.

Pillsbury Halloween cookies: Something super easy and fun if your not a baker. Pillsbury sells these ready-to-bake cookies with pumpkins, spooky cats, and ghosts on them. Not to mention that they are delicious. Enjoy and Happy Halloween!!!!
