It’s officially fall season this semester after a long and wild summer! As the leaves start to change and the weather starts to cool, the pumpkin & apple craze takes over once more! When this time of season comes, Trader Joes–known for its whimsical and unique food products–releases their long awaited fall snacks. These include but are not limited to drinks, sweets, pastries, frozen foods, and more. As these products take over their shelves, here is a list (in no particular order, they are seriously that good!) of the top products to watch out for at a Trader Joes near you!

  1. Spiced Cider

Boasting a combo of ripe apples and various brewed spices (ex. Cinnamon, cloves, allspice, and orange peel) Trader Joe’s spiced cider is easily one of the best on the market. Instagram account @traderjoesreviews says this drink is “the BEST apple cider I’ve ever tried!” and “is stocked to last me through the holidays!” This can be enjoyed hot or cold, and paired with your favorite fall treats!

  1. Pumpkin Sticky Toffee Cakes

Speaking of favorite fall treats, these decedant bundt cakes would go perfect with your favorite cider! Dense & moist, these cakes are almost too easy to prepare! Just place it in the microwave for a minute, and you have yourself a sweet treat that’s much deserved after a long day of classes. A moist cake paired with the sweet toffee and caramel sauce is *chefs kiss* simply to die for.

  1. Honey Roasted Pumpkin Ravioli

When people think of their favorite pumpkin snacks, they think of sweet, decadent treats like cinnamon rolls, donuts, and the iconic PSL. Although all of these are absolutely amazing, the savory snacks that include pumpkin are often looked over! Despite this, these scrumptious raviolis come equipped with a pumpkin and ricotta filling.

The savory cheese and the sweetness of the puree come together to deliver an amazing dinner to end your day on campus. For best possible taste, this could pair well with a browned butter sauce and some herbs.

4. Pumpkin Ice Cream

The debate on TJ’s ice cream is rather polarized, but what can we agree on is this ice cream is phenomenal! With the perfect blend of cinnamon and nutmeg and “Super Premium” stamp on the quart, this desert is like pumpkin pie in a cup! This ice cream for sure lives up to the hype, with stats of 80% of this super premium ice cream paired with 20% pure pumpkin puree! When the day is done, pair this with some cookies, pie, or even eat it straight from the quart!

5. Pumpkin Overnight Oats

This is for all the oat lovers, this stuff is absolutely amazing. As a busy college student who sometimes doesn’t have the time for a sit down meal at my dining hall, this little package is the perfect grab and go option! This product is both a sweet treat and a healthy treat, as its made with wonderful ingredients like dates, rolled oats, almond butter, nutmeg and cinnamon. With a thick decadent texture paired with that perfect fall sweetness, these little packages of goodness is the perfect way to start your fall morning. If you want to make it a little fancier, try adding your favorite granola or a few apple slices!
