Stephanie’s Pinterest Picks of the Week: Welcome Back!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bentley chapter.

Welcome back, collegiettes! I am so excited for another semester of my Pinterest Picks! This week you can look forward to the men of Mean Girls, easy hairstyles, a delicious game-day snack and more. Enjoy!

First up this week is this Necklace Cheat Sheet from Bell’Dora. Originally, this graphic was featured by Charming Charlie, an amazing store full of adorable clothes and accessories (plus, the store is organized by color!). This cheat sheet is a perfect printout to keep on your dresser for quick reference on how to wear your favorite statement necklace. The crew neck collars are huge right now, have you tried this style yet, collegiettes?

My next pin comes from The Crock-Pot Ladies and is perfect for your game day celebrations. With basketball season underway and the return of the NHL, there is reason to celebrate. This Crock-Pot Warm Spinach Dip could not be easier. And the best part? You serve it in the crockpot so it stays warm throughout the whole game, although I doubt there will be any left by the third period!

Having a hard time getting back to work after winter break? Addicted 2 Success can help. They share 20 Ways to Maximize Your Levels of Motivation. My favorite is number 5- “get your swagga up”. I’ve found that when I have a test or a really busy day planned, I wear a favorite outfit or make sure I have enough time to do a cute hairstyle in the morning because it helps me to stay positive throughout the day. Which way to stay motivated is your favorite?

Looking for a new hairstyle for the semester? The Everygirl has 10 Quick Ways to Style Long & Short Hair. These are super cute and easy styles to change up your look for class. I love the Side Twists. I am waiting for my shoulder-length hair to grow out so I am always looking for cute styles to keep it out of my face—this is definitely my new go-to!

Have you ever wondered what happened to Shane Oman? Buzzfeed has the answer with Where the Men of “Mean Girls” Are Now. These guys are leading busy lives, from chalk art to acting in some of our favorite TV shows. And let’s not forget Aaron Samuels. His hair still looks sexy pushed back.

I am a Bentley University senior majoring in Marketing with a LSM in Media, Arts and Society. I make gluten-free goodies all too frequently and my favorite place in the world is the top of a mountain with my skiis on. I have an addiction to chocolate, Alice in Wonderland and laughing with my roommates.
