Stephanie’s Pinterest Picks of the Week: Finals Survival Edition

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bentley chapter.

Happy Monday, collegiettes! With finals just around the corner, I thought it was only fitting for me to share my favorite finals survival pins. You’ll do great and remember, Ryan doesn’t want you to stress!

My first pin comes from Carly at The College Prepster who shares her Intense Study Tips to help us all survive our finals. There are tips for organization and for staying on top of all the material. She breaks her blog post into three sections: in class note taking, homework and the big exam. She even includes a “bonus section” where she shares her essential tools of the trade—I love her planners and sticky notes! Do you have any study tips, collegiettes?

My next pin comes from The Carbon Crusader on Etsy. This shop sells all different colors of engraved pencils. There are so many quotes to choose from— everything from “What would Blair Waldorf do?” to “Bazinga!”, but my favorite set is from Mean Girls. There would be nothing better than having a pencil engraved with “You’re like, really pretty” to stare at as you scribble on a Scantron sheet. I think these would be the perfect motivation to study and ace the exam. So fetch.

Need a study beak? Check out the Doo Wop Shop on YouTube! This a cappella group from UMass Amherst won me over with their Disney Medley– a combination of favorite Disney songs and some great dance moves! Their voices are incredible and the boys are so sweet– when the video hit 2 million views that they all wrote personal thank you notes on their Facebook page!

Need to kick finals blues? Check out the Woman’s Day article of 7 Foods That Boost Every Type of Bad Mood. This list contains healthy snacks that are sure to keep you focused on finals and getting home for break. Feeling stressed? Eat chocolate (you don’t have to tell me twice!). Sluggish? Try a spinach salad. Ready to lose it because the kid next to you in the library will not stop clicking his pen? An apple and peanut butter will help! What other snacks do you love to eat during finals to keep you motivated, collegiettes?

And finally, when the exams are over, the papers are passed in, and your presentations are done, break open some glitter pills and celebrate because you are home free!
