Here are 4 steps to perfect eyelashes:

Curl Them

Curling your lashes is a step that many people disregard. This makes me so angry. There is nothing I hate more than flat eyelashes. (OK, there are a couple make-up pet peeves of mine but that’s a whole different article that will be coming soon!) Curling your eyelashes make a HUGE difference.

·         Use your favorite eyelash curler and begin by clamping your eyelashes at the base of your lash line and lightly squeeze and hold for 5-7 seconds. Then release and move it up very little and lightly squeeze for 5-7 seconds again. Repeat this process until you reach the tips of your eyelashes.

·         If you have long lashes, you might do this about 3-4 times. If they are short, you might only do this once.

My favorite curler is by ShiseidoLine your Upper Water Line

Use a black pencil eyeliner or gel eyeliner to line the waterline of you eyelid. This will make your eyelashes look much darker and fuller.

§  Bobbi brown gel liner and makeup-forever aqua eyes pencil are my go to liners for this step!

Apply Mascara

Apply 2-3 coats of your favorite mascara.

§  Make sure you start at the base of your lashes and wiggle your wand in a zig-zag motion until you reach past the tips of your eyelashes.

§  If you’re into it, (I AM) coat your bottom lashes.

§  Benefit’s They’re Real and Maybelline’s Colossal Volume Express are my current favorites!

Clean Up

If any mascara gets on your face during this process, BE PATIENT and let it dry. Once dry, just flick it off using a facial tissue or a cotton swab!
