Packing Up for Spring Break

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bentley chapter.

We’ve finally made it! It’s almost spring break, and many people are traveling all over the world. Packing for a week-long trip can be tricky, especially when you feel like you want to pack your entire room.

Here are some things that a lot of times people forget to bring while they’re traveling:

Adapter

Although this may sound like common sense, it can sometimes be difficult finding the right adapter for the place you’re traveling to. There are so many variations across all the different countries, and you want to make sure you get the right one. If you want to play it safe, you can always get a universal adapter that has all the different types of adapters.

Sunglasses

These are an essential! Finding the right pair of sunglasses can be difficult, but once you find the right pair it’s hard to take them off. Grabbing your sunglasses before you head out the door is crucial – your eyes will thank you!

Comfortable shoes

You know what they say! It’s better to look good than to feel good. But when you’re walking on cobblestone streets in Italy or climbing mountains in Peru, you’re going to want to be comfortable walking for long periods of time.

RFID Wallet

This is a great addition to your travel luggage. Not only will you keep your credit card and passport safe from hackers, you’ll also have peace of mind!

Passport

This might also seem like a given, but there are plenty of people who get to the airport and forget the most important piece of traveling! Put your passport right near the door or in the car so that you are ready to go and won’t have to run back home to grab it.

A neck pillow

Traveling no matter the distance can be strenuous. If you’re traveling on a long flight across the ocean, it can be really helpful to have a pillow to sleep on. Before you know it, you’ll be at your destination!

No matter where you’re going this spring break, remember to travel lightly, be aware of your surroundings, and most importantly have fun!
