April Fools’ Day Pranks

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bentley chapter.

With April Fools’ Day coming up, everyone should have a practical joke to play on their friends and roommates!  Here are some examples of a few fun pranks to play this April 1st.  Don’t be afraid to be creative and remember, don’t be too mean!

  • Move the furniture out of someone’s common room and into their bedroom.

If you’re able to get into your friends room, move all of the couches into the bedrooms so that when they come back, all they find is an empty common room.  What will make this prank even better is if they have no idea who played it!

  • Set multiple alarms for the same time

Have you and your friends all plan a time to set your alarms for the same time and leave them in one location.  When they start going off, whoever is in the room will be confused as to where the noises are coming from and it will probably take them a while to shut them all off.

  • Glue a penny to the floor

Supplies needed for this are a penny and super glue.  Glue a penny to the floor in a public place, like Seasons or LaCava and sit back and watch to see how many people attempt to pick it up!

  • Cling wrap a desk

This prank might take some time, but it will be fun to see your friends/roommates reaction.  Saran/plastic wrap your friends desk and make sure that their scissors are a few layers down in the saran wrap so that they can see them but cannot use them to unwrap there desk.  This way they will have to be tortured to unwrap their entire desk.

  • Whoopee cushion

Lastly, is the most classic prank from our childhood.  Dig up an old whoopee cushion and bring it around with you to prank your friends throughout the day.  In class, at Seasons and in your friend’s rooms; this will be sure to get a few laughs!

Enjoy this holiday and let it relieve some stress from your hectic school schedules.  Watch out for those who will be playing pranks on you and be creative; it’s bound to be fun!
