Every love story has their own cycle but some can be summed up  in one year, especially ones that go sour. 

January:

A new year, a new opportunity to find love!

February:

By the time Valentine’s Day rolls along you start to realize:

March:

Then you meet a cute guy.

April:

You start to hang out more and things seem to be going great.

May:

You start to wonder why you ever thought you would be alone forever.

June:

But then summer comes along and things start to get weird.

July:

Texts stop getting answered and you begin to question if you did something wrong.

But of course your friends are there to let you know how they feel.

August:

So you get over it and decide it’s time for someone new.

Finally, you’re back at school with your friends and a sea of guys and you’re like:

Then you realize your mistake….

and decide:

You stop looking and decide your nights are better spent just having fun going out with the girls.

You decide you’ll end up finding someone some day, but for now:

So while you may be struggling coming to terms to with what happened to previous relationships, just know that things do work out the way they are supposed to.

Meghan Gibbons is a double major in Communications and Political Science in her senior year at Boston College. Although originally from New Jersey, she is a huge fan of all Boston sports!
