A Typhoon Strikes the Philippines
On Friday, a typhoon struck the Philippines. Super Typhoon Haiyan is estimated to leave 1,200 people dead or injured. The Red Cross made the estimation late Friday stating that around 1,000 people are most likely dead in Tacloban and around 200 people in Samar. Currently, the official number of people found dead is 138 and 14 are injured or missing. The Red Cross will have more accurate numbers later today. This natural disaster has left many families separated and still searching for loved ones.
Bullying in the NFL: Get It Together Guys
Jonathan Martin of the Miami Dolphins Football team is now a victim of bulling. Martin was drafted into the NFL in 2012 and has been playing first string for the Dolphins ever since. He unfortunately left the Miami Dolphins last week due to harassment that went farther than just the typical sports team hazing. Richie Incognito was suspended for “conduct that was detrimental to the team.” This took place after Martin had walked out on the team dinner in the cafeteria after one too many racist and violent threats were thrown at him. Incognito had threatened Martin on many occasions and had even gone as far as threatening his life. The issue put forth by such heinous acts is that immediately people questioned Martin’s toughness, claiming that maybe he was just too soft.

Let’s be honest, I’m 99.99% sure that most women have a girl crush on Jennifer Aniston. The actress and A-list celebrity recently revealed her new haircut. She has embraced the short look and gone for a bold bob. Seen in the picture above, she is looking hot! I love that she is trying something different and the length really suits her.
Justin Bieber: What Are You Doing?
On Wednesday, November 6th, a video was uploaded to YouTube. The said video shows a sleeping Justin Bieber on a couch in a hotel. The story goes: Justin was unable to stay at the hotel because security was not sufficient. So instead, he rented out a house to make his own as he stayed in Brazil. The night before, he had a party and the girl featured in the video was invited. She snuck a video of the sleeping pop-star. The video has now had more than 26 million views and it is the start of many different rumors. One of those rumors being that the girl in the video is some kind of Brazilian prostitute. I have not been able to confirm this information but here’s hoping that it’s just a rumor.
