1) Intel’s Brady Everyday This commercial is number one because of Tom Brady’s greatness. I mean, what other football player could both simultaneously star in a Super Bowl ad while winning the Super Bowl? And what is even better about this commercial is that it spends the whole time talking about how Brady is the GOAT in his everyday life.

2) Honda CR-V Yearbooks CommercialThis advertisement was essentially a one-minute motivational speech. It makes you want to accomplish your dreams like all the celebrities shown accomplished theirs. And while it may take a second to grasp that it is a car commercial, the goal of empowering the viewer to chase their dreams in a Honda is reached. Also, who doesn’t love to see celebrity yearbook photos?

3) Sexy Mr. Clean CommercialWho would have ever thought that Mr. Clean would one day be portrayed as a sexy cleaning man? Well apparently the creators of this ad saw this as a perfect opportunity to make Mr. Clean sexy and thus make cleaning something people actually want to do. This commercial’s hilariousness and sex appeal make it one of the best Super Bowl commercials.

4) Skittles “Romance” Super Bowl LI CommercialThrowing skittles at a window- what could be more romantic? This play on the traditional romance associated with throwing rocks at a girl’s window catches the attention of our romantic side. But when we see the girl and her various family members eating the skittles he is throwing we instantly burst out into laughter.

5) Kia Commercial with Melissa McCarthyWe all love Melissa McCarthy and know she is hilarious. But seeing her being a badass and saving the world makes this commercial stand out. Kia knew what they were doing by bringing star power, humor, and action into such a brief commercial which makes this one of the best Super Bowl commercials of 2017.

6) Big Game Commercial with Cam Newton & Miranda Kerr | BuickWhile this commercial slightly resembles the Snickers’ commercials of the past, it is still comical. We laugh throughout the commercial beginning when the son isn’t good at football and ending when the coach transforms into Miranda Kerr. Also, the slogan of “If that’s a Buick then I’m …” actually connects the product to the commercial, which is rare in other commercials on this list.

7) Justin Bieber’s Super Bowl 2017 Commercial for T-Mobile Watch NOWT-Mobile knew what they were doing when they got Justin Bieber, Gronk, and Terrell Owens to star in their commercial. And it was relevant because it related back to football. Also, who doesn’t love to see J Biebs on TV when they aren’t expecting it?

8) TurboTax’s Commercial “Humpty Hospital” Lately, TurboTax has had some really funny commercials and this one is no different. They make the well-known children’s story “Humpty Dumpty” humorous by having him call and ask about whether or not he can get a tax deduction for the medical bills. By making these injuries occur in Humpty Dumpty we laugh at his need for the tax deduction of his medical bills. The commercial takes a real-life situation that is normally scary and makes it funny, which for some reason is the best kind of humor.

9) Avocadoes from Mexico Secret Society CommercialThis commercial starts by joking about all the secrets the secret society holds: faking the moon landing, Area 51, the existence of only 49 shades of grey, etc. This immediately grabs the audience’s attention and has them laughing the whole way through. And while the connection to avocadoes wasn’t exactly clear, this was still an entertaining ad.

10) Stranger Things 2 TrailerWhen it started, it appeared to be just an Eggo commercial. But then, it evolved into something much greater: the new trailer for Stranger Things. Coming out next Halloween, this commercial immediately made everyone quiet as we all watched in anticipation wanting to know what happens in the next season of arguably one of the greatest shows of all time.
