This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BC chapter.

He may have casually woken up five minutes before our noon interview, but this CSOM senior looked good without even trying.  His three loves are playing the drums, snowboarding, and… raquetball?  He’s a down-to-earth, relaxed guy who would prefer a night at a dive bar in Southie with his roommates over a dance party.

Year:  2011
Major:  Finance and Information Systems
Hometown:  Long Island, New York

Interests:

What are you involved in here at BC?
I am president of the Information Systems Academy.  It’s really nerdy, I know.  I used to be more involved.  I was in the marching band for two years.  I played the drums.  I am thinking about joining a band that asked me to be their drummer.

What do you like to do outside of the classroom?
My three favorite things are playing raquetball, the drums, and snowboarding.  My favorite place to snowboard is probably Breckenridge or Vail.

Who is your favorite band?
Soldiers of Jah Army — reggae.  I was in South America last summer.  Me and my friends just piled in a pickup truck and drove from one end to the other.  So the reggae is from being there.

What is your favorite place to eat on campus?
I love to eat at Eagles Nest, but love the atmosphere at Hillside.  I eat there a lot.  I cook for myself though, I’m a pretty decent cook.  I taught myself how to make grilled chicken with quinoa and mixed vegetables while I was in Argentina.

What is your favorite chick flick?
10 Things I Hate about You

Who is your celebrity girl/guy crush?
Girl – Eva Mendes, I would marry her right now.
Guy – It’s between Brad Pitt and Bradley Cooper.  No, I would say Brad Pitt.  He’s the man.

Senioritis:

Where do you live this year?
Edmonds, unfortunately.  We had the best apartment last year.  Parties every single week before I left to study abroad in Argentina.

How has your BC experience been so far?
I’m very sad to be leaving.  Me and my roommates are obnoxiously close.  We’ve lived together since freshman year.  Much closer than I am with my friends from home.

What is the best part about senior year?
I only have class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but even then I have only have two “real” classes.  Either the schedule or the fact that everyone’s schedule is like that, so everybody ends up hanging out all of the time.  We go out like five nights a week and you meet a million people a week.

Most embarrassing moment?
Oh, that’s so easy.  Freshman year.  I lived in Duschene and I had a bunch of food in my hand in a to-go container.  I was running for the bus and went to jump over a pile of snow and completely ate it on a patch of ice.  My food went everywhere and I tumbled into the door of the bus.  I looked up and the bus was sitting there waiting for me.  I couldn’t even get on the bus because I didn’t want to see these people.  (awww)

Do you have a BC bucket list?
No.  I have a life bucket list and a Boston bucket list.  I would like to go to the aquarium.  And do typical Boston things, like the Freedom Trail.  I just went to Southie for the first time.  We went to this little townie bar.  It made MA’s look like the Ritz.  The most expensive beer they sold was three dollars.  It was great.  It’s really fun. The people there are friendly, they taught us to play pool and stuff.  My roommates go every week.

What are you going to do next year?
Uhhh (smiles) I don’t know yet.  I have an interview on Monday.  I would like to stay in Boston.

Any regrets about your BC experience?
I wish I could go through college again.  This is the first semester I’m taking a class that wasn’t a requirement.  I kind of wish I could have taken more fun classes at BC.

Do you have any advice for underclassmen?
Ha, there’s not enough space in this interview, I have so much advice.  I guess make sure you have fun in the classes you take.

Lovin’ it:

How do you feel about being nominated for Campus Cutie?
It’s funny (laughs).  My roommate, Dug, did it, so it’s funny.

What is your ideal BC girl?
Someone who is kind of conservative.  No one super popular or loud.  I don’t want someone who knows everyone.  Someone who has really good music taste (reggae, hip hop, alternative rock, metal (Minus the Bear is my other favorite band!)).

Are you single and ready to mingle?
Yes, hmmm yes.

Would you say you are more into the hook-up culture or relationships?
I am a relationship guy.  I’ve almost always been in a relationship.  This is the first year of my adult life that I’ve been single.  Now, I guess, I’m enjoying the hook-up culture.

What is your favorite pick up line?
I don’t use pick up lines.

What is your perfect date?
Haha, my friends and I did a date auction last Thursday, and they asked me that question.  Probably make dinner together, sit and hang out and listen to music.

Have you ever cooked for a girl for a date?
Yeah, well I’ve cooked for a girl that I’m friends with.  I went over to a girl’s house and we cooked dinner together for a date one time.

What should girls know about you?
I am a much bigger mush than I come off as.

A cuddler?
Yeah, of course.
