We are getting closer to finals and we have to accept it.

All that Syllabus Week talk about final exam dates now perfectly describe our very near future. Now the studying begins! But before all the studying, here are a few things to do before you pack your bags to go home for winter break.

Have fun with your friends!

Before you go into your studying spots in preparation of finals, do something fun with your friends. You could go explore the city, watch a movie, shop, get massages. Possibilities are endless!

1. Plan study breaks with your friends!

When all of your friends are free, plan a trip to Starbucks, Dunkin, or somewhere that you can recharge! Studying for hours straight is hard work and you deserve a break.

2. Do “something cool” with your friends

End the semester off right and in the words of Jenko, do “something cool” before you leave. College is the time to have fun with your friends and do what you love with your friends, all while learning something you (hopefully do) love. Make a bucket list each semester and just do it.

3. Make a list, and check it twice (for my Santa fans out there)

Write down the important stuff to take home with you. During break, you might want your license, Social Security card, credit cards, medication, etc.
