Flaunt Those Gorgeous Legs in Our Favorite Spring Skirts!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BC chapter.

Believe it or not, spring has sprung in all of its splendor!  The sun is out, there is not a cloud in the sky, and warm breezes are blowing through the trees.  People are finding excuses to sit outside, taking long walks, sipping on cold beverages, and country music is blaring from speakers all around campus.  What does this mean?

It’s warm, it’s sunny, and it’s here to stay.  Yes, ladies, it’s time to put the pants, Ugg boots, and sweaters away for the season.  It’s leg season.  It is finally warm enough to show off our beautiful bodies and gorgeous figures in some of the most fun articles of clothing we will ever own: skirts!!

This season has such a wide range of styles, colors, and patterns that choosing the perfect skirts to add to your wardrobe can be a little bit overwhelming.  Don’t worry, we have compiled a few of our favorites for you!

Anthropologie Mountain Time A-Line Skirt

We love that this skirt has such a simple but eye-catching geometric pattern.  Its medium length makes it perfect for dressing up or down.

Anthropologie Scattered Heartsease Skirt

The bright floral pattern is what drew us in to this skirt.  We love the neon colors and the orange is fabulous!

Forever 21 Essential Circle Skirt

This simple skirt is perfect for class.  It comes in a few different colors and has a classic polka dot pattern that will never go out of style.

Forever 21 Abstract Printed Skirt

What is not to love about abstract prints in bold colors?  Nothing.

LOFT Textural Pocket Skirt

This gorgeous neon A-line skirt is perfect for class or a business casual event.  Its bright colors make it pop, but its simple pattern and knee-length design make it appropriate for the office, too.

LOFT Tropical Floral Skirt

This skirt is just so pretty.  We love the light, delicate colors and floral pattern, and this skirt is perfect for any daytime occasion.

ModCloth Reflections of Romance Skirt

Combining a pastel floral pattern (so in right now) with a unique button-down design, this skirt is shorter and form fitting, without being too tight.  Wear it on a hot day with a light tank and you can’t go wrong.

Nasty Gal Member’s Lounge Skirt

This is a modern spin on a classic khaki skirt.  We adore it.

Nasty Gal Spotted Swing Skirt

Black and white polka dots are perfect.  They are always in style.  Vintage-inspired, it features accordion pleating and an asymmetric hem for a contemporary feel.

Zara Irregular Fine Pleated Short Skirt

Mint green accordion pleats.  Need I say more?

Jack Wills Lawson Skirt

This is a new twist on a nautical classic.  This short navy and white striped skirt is perfect if you are feeling preppy.

Clearly, there was no way to even touch on all of the amazing skirts that are out this season, but hopefully this list gives you an idea of some trends to look for.  Happy shopping, collegiettes!
