Last Friday night was the ‘100 Days Dance,’ the kickoff event put on by the Senior Week Committee to celebrate the last 100 days of senior year (or more accurately, the last 88 days). It’s hard to believe that there’s less than 100 days left until graduation and as of today, that number is down to 81! Who wants to help me stop the clock and stay seniors forever?

The 100 Days Dance was held at the Royale in Boston and for the most part, it was huge success! The awkward timing of the event and the coat check fiasco definitely put a damper on the evening but attending the event was still well worth it and it was so nice having most of the senior class together in one place.

The Royale was a fantastic venue: it was spacious, the DJ was playing a great selection of music, and it was so much fun having the entire club to ourselves! Morgan Gibbons, the publicity director of Her Campus BC, had a great time and said, “The dance floor was a mad house – think the Mods on steroids (luckily minus the freshmen though).” It was too bad that the event ended at 9:30, it felt like it was cut short and I know most of us could have continued dancing the night away!

Now that the 100 Days Dance is over, we have plenty of other fun events to look forward to but if the past month is any indication of how fast the rest of the semester is going to go, Senior Week and the G-word are going to be here before we know it. So seniors, take advantage of the time we have left! Do all the things you’ve been meaning to do for the past four years and live it up!
