Calm Down in the Commons This Spring

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BC chapter.

It is that time of year when stress levels are starting to rise and we are looking for anyway to escape the small cubicles in O’Neill in which we have been hibernating.  For an afternoon of fresh air and springtime beauty, the Boston Commons is the ideal location.  This beautiful green space just a T ride away offers many ways to relieve your frenzied finals feelings.  Here are some ways the Boston Commons can help you relax and enjoy Boston in the spring!

-Act like a little kid on the Boston Commons Carousel

– Go for a relaxing walk or jog

-Take a ride on the Swan Boats

-Pack a lunch and have a picnic in the park

-Leave your headphones at home and listen to some locals showcase their talent

-Update your Instagram by taking pictures in the Public Gardens

-Sit on the bench near the pond and relive the scene from Good Will Hunting

-Feed the ducks and birds (if you are not scared of aggressive animals)

With just a little time left before the semester ends, you do not want to miss out on the opportunity to enjoy how beautiful the Boston Commons can be in the spring.
