Most of us don’t have time to run to CVS to pick up the latest version of InStyle to see what’s actually “in style.” In order to be on top of my fashion game, I like to take a peek on Instagram to see Kim Kardashian’s Manolo Heels or Rihanna’s most recent post featuring her $8,000 bracelet. After wiping off my drool from staring at these pictures, I looked into finding some realistic fashion posts that I could potentially buy or recreate. Most of these Instagrammers, despite their mortal, non-celebrity status, give some great outfit ideas and new ways to create your fashion.

The original website sells most articles of clothing posted on Insta. Kay, who is in charge of posting, creates outfits from a selection of sweaters, jackets, scarves, etc. from their website. I’ve bought a few of their sweaters after seeing them paired with similar things I have in my tiny dorm closet.
Perfect for: The “I look cute, but I’m not trying” look.

She travels the world and gets paid to take pictures of her wearing fashion designers’ creations. For those going abroad, she’s your go-to gal. WeWoreWhat is a fashion blog that takes street fashion and gives it a chic touch. Most outfits can be toned down for class, but their edgy and current style warrants a “follow.” The blogger usually tells you what she’s wearing, and you can most likely find it on Newbury Street.
Realistic Take: Don’t be intimated by some of the posts—some clothes can look outrageous, so be sure to put your own spin on the outfits.
