BC Confesses: Never Have I Ever…

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BC chapter.

Never Have I Ever, Ten Fingers, or whatever you call it… this game is a favorite for all ages, getting more and more difficult as we get older and experience new things.  It’s such a versatile game that it’s used in all sorts of settings, from situations that call for icebreakers to those that use it as a drinking game.  It even has its own Tumblr page!!  So no matter what the occasion happens to be, there’s always a reason to play this infamous game.

Believe it or not, Never Have I Ever is a game that helps people take an honest look at themselves and the things they have and have not done in their lives in a lighthearted fashion.  Whether you struggle to find things that you haven’t done (Sally-Not-So-Innocent) or don’t want to admit that you haven’t done something (Goodie-Two-Shoes), this game reveals a lot.  It’s a great way to really open up about yourself and build great friendships as you bond over similar (or not so similar) experiences.

I hate to admit this, but I’m usually that person who’s tempted to lie about what I have and haven’t done to seem cool.  For example, when I played this game on a trip in 8th grade, someone else said, “Never have I ever been kissed” and I wanted so badly to put down my finger.  But alas, I couldn’t bring myself to lie.  Obviously, being the Goodie-Two-Shoes that I was, I was the person with the most fingers still up at the end.

But now that we’re in college, things are a little bit more interesting.  I asked some people for things that they’ve never ever done (and would admit to in the game) and added some of my own… So let’s play!!

Never Have I Ever…

Had a cup of coffee.
Changed a diaper.

Participated in a threesome.
Participated in an orgy.
Been asked on an official date.
Been in handcuffs.
Nature peed.
Thrown up on a stranger.
Kissed more than two people in one night.
Gotten my driver’s license.
Gone skydiving.

Cross-dressed.
Gone streaking.
Broken a bone.
Hooked up with someone I knew for less than 24 hours.
Lied to a guy to try to hook up with him.
Faked sick to get out of work.
Texted the person I was talking about by accident because they were on my mind.
Shamefully walked through the Mods on a Saturday morning.

Went out without underwear on.
Came back one night missing a piece of clothing that I went out with.
Sang in public.
Dated a friend’s ex.
Had a crush on a friend’s boyfriend.
Lied to a professor.
Re-gifted to the friend that gave me the gift initially.
Cheated on a diet and completely lied about it.
Hooked up with a guy and either not told my friends or completely denied the incident.
Pretended to know how to play a drinking game to appear cool.
Worn a piece of clothing that was in the hamper because I didn’t have anything else to wear.
Wanted to change my major but am too scared of the transition.
Wished I went to a different school.

So what have you never done?  We’d love some feedback, so tweet, Facebook, email or comment on this post!
