As I was driving home from a weekend spent with my high school friends I couldn’t stop thinking about relationships and being single. Our generation has put a bad stigma on being single.

When in reality, being single is the most important time in your life! When you are single, you are only responsible for yourself and no one else. You have the freedom to do whatever you want! When you are single you have the time to learn things about yourself that you never even knew existed. You have the ability to discover the talents and gifts you possess.

Recently I watched a church sermon on YouTube called Relationship Goals and it’s a series that talks about how to have the right kind of relationships. But the first sermon is about before finding the person you will start a relationship with. I am here to tell you, if you have the time GO WATCH THIS VIDEO ASAP! This sermon is full of so many truths and each of you need to hear them.

It is easy to get caught up in the relationships around you, and start to wonder why haven’t I found someone yet? Is there something wrong with me? Trust me I have been there before. But I am here to tell you, there is absolutely nothing wrong with you! And listen when I say, your time is coming!

Enjoy your season of being single. And take advantage of every opportunity that presents itself. You aren’t going to be single forever, so don’t miss out on the things around you! Don’t get discouraged either. Always remember you are beautiful and the right guy will come into your life eventually. So, enjoy where you are in life right now and don’t get sucked in by the lies our generation tells us.
