Podcasts have been gaining much popularity recently. In honor of Women’s History Month, there are so many amazing podcasts hosted by women. While each podcast has their different niche, I compiled a list of five of my favorite podcasts hosted by women. I encourage you to check them out.

  1. Office Ladies

Led by The Office stars Angela Kinsely and Jenna Fisher, this podcast breaks down famous moments from the show. With guests involved in the show, every episode of the podcast breaks down an episode of the show or monumental inside jokes, like Micheal Scott’s hatred towards Toby Flenderson. In addition to The Office, Angela Kinslely has starred in multiple different TV shows. Kinsley also has a cooking show on Disney Plus. Jenna Fisher has starred in other shows, but does a lot of work behind the scenes now. Fisher has also written a book, The Actor’s Life,  and is currently working on producing a new show, National Parker

  1. Violating Community Guidelines

Violating Community Guidelines reflects on a lot of internet and social media topics. Influencers Brittany Broski and Sarah Schauer host each episode, going into topics such as TweetDecking, Tinder, MAGCON, and so much more. As a communications major, I love their perspective. Brittany Broski graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in communications and Sarah Schauer almost graduated from Old Dominion University with a degree in marketing. This podcast is interesting because it mixes comedy with great information about social media.

  1.  Anything Goes with Emma Chamberlain

While Emma Chamberlain has taken a break from posting on Youtube, she uploads podcasts  frequently. Similar to her Youtube videos, the topics in Anything Goes can vary a lot. While Emma Chamberlain’s usual comedy is still present, she speaks on more serious topics in her podcast. For example, some podcast episodes talk about religion, sex, and cheating. A lot of her other podcasts include fan submissions for advice.

  1.  The Michelle Obama Podcast

Hosted by former First Lady Michelle Obama, this podcast has many episodes speaking on an array of issues and topics. She talks about growing up, being a woman in the workforce, raising kids, and so much more. Most episodes feature a guest that relates to the subject of the episode. For example, Michelle Obama brought a few of her closest friends in for the podcast titled The Gifts of Girlfriends

  1. I missed me

This last podcast is for all the girls going through their healing girl era right now. Host Mafe Anzures talks about coming back to yourself, either after a breakup or a hard time. I love her podcast because it is relatable for college students. For example, she has an episode about situationships. Similar to Anything Goes with Emma Chamberlain, Mafe Anzures recently started introducing advice sessions. Other episode topics are about being alone, burning out, friends, attachment issues, and so much more.
